Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SnehBandh, a platform to help adults find a life partner, operated in India. By registering or using the service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not register or use SnehBandh.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SnehBandh. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

SnehBandh is strictly prohibited for use by anyone under 18. If we discover a user is under 18, we will immediately terminate their account.

You must provide accurate, honest, and complete information when creating your account and profile. Providing false information is grounds for immediate account termination.

Each person may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and will result in all accounts being removed.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account. Do not share your OTP or session with anyone.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

If you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, notify us immediately at support@snehbandh.com.

IMPORTANT: SnehBandh does not conduct criminal background checks, identity verification beyond phone OTP, or any other vetting of its members.

We cannot guarantee that a member is who they claim to be. You are solely responsible for your own safety when communicating with or meeting other members.

We strongly encourage you to read our Safety Tips at snehbandh.app/safety before meeting anyone from the platform in person.

We are not responsible for the conduct, statements, or actions of any member, whether online or offline.

Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or messages.

Using the platform if you are under 18 years of age.

Harassing, threatening, bullying, or abusing other members in any way.

Sharing another member's phone number, email, or private information without their explicit consent.

Soliciting money, gifts, loans, or financial assistance from other members. Romance scams are taken extremely seriously and will result in an immediate permanent ban and referral to law enforcement.

Offering or soliciting commercial sexual services, escort services, or any form of paid companionship.

Using the platform for commercial, advertising, or promotional purposes without our prior written consent.

Scraping, copying, reverse-engineering, or redistributing any content or profile data from SnehBandh.

Attempting to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorised to access.

Posting content that is sexually explicit, graphically violent, hateful, or otherwise unlawful under Indian or applicable law.

Creating profiles for or on behalf of minors, or attempting to contact minors.

Impersonating any person or entity, or falsely claiming affiliation with any organisation.

You retain ownership of the content you post (photos, text, profile information). By posting, you grant SnehBandh a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display your content to other registered members and to resize or optimise photos for delivery.

You confirm that you own or have the right to post all content you submit, and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law, without notice.

SnehBandh and all its content, features, and functionality (excluding user-generated content) are owned by SnehBandh and protected by applicable intellectual property law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of any part of SnehBandh without our express written permission.

If you believe any content on SnehBandh infringes your copyright, please contact legal@snehbandh.com with details of the alleged infringement.

SnehBandh is currently free to use. There are no subscription fees or in-app purchases at this time.

If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these Terms and provide clear pricing information before any charge is made.

Any future paid features will include a refund policy that complies with applicable Indian consumer protection law.

SnehBandh is a platform that facilitates introductions between adults looking for a life partner. We do not verify the background, identity beyond phone OTP, or intentions of members.

We are not liable for the conduct of members or for any loss, harm, or injury arising from your interactions with other members, whether online or offline.

We are not responsible for the accuracy of any profile information provided by members.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, while the service is free, is zero).

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

You may delete your account at any time from Account → Delete Account in the app, or by following the instructions at snehbandh.app/account-deletion.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without prior notice, depending on the severity of the violation.

On termination, your profile is removed from search results immediately. Personal data is purged within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SnehBandh shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation.

If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in India.
